What are your pickleball court rules?

We have several rules that will ensure a safe and fun pickleball experience for everyone.

  • Courts must be reserved online, through our app (download here: Apple or Android) or by calling us at 843-900-3080. Please check in before playing. If your time is up and you wish to stay longer, check with the front desk to extend your court time.
  • No food or drinks allowed on the court.
  • No bags on the court. Please leave outside the fence.
  • Open-toe shoes are strictly prohibited and you must wear non-marking shoes only.
  • No pets on the court.
  • Show respect to your opponents and play with good sportsmanship.
  • Excessive profanity, alcohol or misconduct may result in removal from the premises.

What is Open Play and how does it work?

Open Play is an opportunity to play against a variety of people and skill levels.  We staff every Open Play session with one of our team members to help organize the games.  Please adhere to the following rules so we can ensure a fun, competitive environment.

  • We use a paddle stack system to ensure players are rotating properly.  There is 1 rack per 2 courts.  Stack your paddles to the right. Please do not move paddles in the stack or put your paddle in front anyone else’s paddle.
  • Once a game is over “winners” put their paddle on courts 1/2 and 7/8 and “losers” will put their paddles on courts 3/4 and 5/6.  If only two paddles are waiting, then winners will stay on their court and split.
  • If we use court 9 it will be a Challenge Court.  On the Challenge Court, winners will stay and can choose to stay together or split.
  • Some sessions will be split by skill level depending on the players in attendance.  3.5+ will be on courts 1/2 and 7/8 and 3.5 and below will be on courts 3/4 and 5/6.  If you do not know your rating, ask a pro and they will put you on the proper court.
  • Game scoring may vary depending on the number of players (9 or 11 win by 1 or 2)
  • Please NO arguing, coaching, telling others how to play or cheating.  Breaking rules will result in dismissal and could lead to being banned from participation in Open Play.
