About Pete:
Pete Mroz’s musical journey began when he moved to Nashville at nineteen, chasing songs, soul, and the kind of truth you only find onstage. He quickly carved out a place in the city’s tight-knit songwriting circles, performing under the name Pete Mitchell and honing a craft rooted in grit, heart, and lived experience.
A decade later, national audiences discovered what Nashville already knew: during Season 20 of The Voice, Pete’s standout performances earned chair turns and praise from coaches, including longtime friend Blake Shelton. His rich voice and honest storytelling brought him into millions of homes and introduced a wider world to his artistry.
Today, Pete continues to write, record, and perform—but his path has expanded. In 2025, he became the co-owner of Breedlove and Bedell Guitars, stewarding two respected American acoustic-guitar brands into a new era. With one foot in the songwriting world and the other in the craft of building instruments, Pete stands at a rare intersection of music, artistry, and leadership.
